"Maquillo was senior stallion at the National Stud in the early 1960’s.  His best sons were Sacudir, Saludo, Uzacur, and Bambu. He was an exceptionally well-conformed and beautiful stallion. He died in 1971."

His daughter *Sabiduria (x Habladuria) chestnut 1954 was imported by the Steen Ranches in 1965 and later owned by Wayne Newton.  She produced 12 progeny, including the lovely mare WN Mi Kerida by *An Malik.  Daughters Agata II, Baldosa, Betonica, Oromana, Dalia IV, and Garpa were all excellent producers.
